About
Helen Waddington graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone college of Art as a Fine Art Printmaker. During this time Helen won the Royal Academy of Art Printmaking award, and on graduating the Bernard Cooper Printmaking prize. After completing her MA in European Fine Art in Barcelona, (Winchester School of Art) her work has become more diverse- playing with space, language and philosophical theories. Her practice explores the ideas of Schrodinger’s cat and the works of Wittgenstein. These theories together create an investigation into the existence of being and the state of truth and fiction. This includes pencil observations and definitions, photographic work, installation, written work and the play on the audience. Future research and practice is currently taking place by undertaking a MRes degree in Arts and Cultural Research. Through this research is moving in several different places and the outcomes of which are yet to be discovered.
